Not to be mistaken with Slot seed, seed are items found in various treasure chest, interactive things as well as hidden through out the stages. While on their own, these seeds doesn’t do anything but there is a creature that lives in a pot called “Pipot” that will trade in some cool items if you manage to give him all the 99 seeds scattered in the game

Pipot Locations

Throughout your journey through the land, you will encounter 8 Pipots hiding in pots located all around the world. Some are obvious but some are hiding in optional places

Now that you know the location of these creature called Pipot, here are some of the cool items they have in their possession. Which they gladly part with if you trade them with all the seeds found throughout the whole game. Don’t worry about trading them at different location because somehow the Pipot just remember how many you have traded to them regardless of your locations.

to get into this place, talk to the guard guarding the area, then move away. The guard will start moving, then quickly start pulling the crate. Now go talk to the 2nd guard, once he start moving push the other crate to create an opening to the ladder. Descent to reach the Lab. Don’t worry about getting caught, just try again until you made it through.

In order to get into the area, you need to play hide and seek with the Lonely Chuchu. Once you accept her challenge, the back door to Nalia’s Shop will be open by her and she will pass you the keys once you complete the event.

Phew! now that you have obtained all of the seeds, your ultimate reward would be the Pipot Collar ( Absorb Earth element skill ).

In case you missed any of the 99 seeds, you can still get them in Disc 4 by visiting the Auction House in City of Saman. Just play the mini game to get them all back - including the treasure chest that you might have missed before.

Optional Pipot Sidequest

Beside the normal seed and Pipot abilities to enhance items, there is an optional sidequest that involves a special seeds. Completing this task can be a bit daunting but I was informed ( thanks RedChocobos ) that you need to do this is sequence starting from the first special seed event in Gohtzan Refugee Camp

This quest can be trigger by talking to the Trouble Bodonov in Gohtzan Refugee Camp. He will ask you to get him some ration from the lady in the center on the camp.

Just run as quickly to the Lady to get the ration. Don’t worry if you failed because you can try as many times until you succeed. The reward for this charity would be the first special seed which is the Spiky. Once received just pass the seed to the specific Pipot until the last ones in Pirate Fortress

Spiky Seed –> Pipot in Gohtzan Refugee Camp
Pricky Seed –> Pipot in Saman
Solid Seed –> Pipot in Uhra
Tough Seed –> Pipot in Numara Ghost Town
Fuzzy Seed –> Pipot in Grand Staff Construction Base
Rough Seed –> Pipot in Mountain Village of Tosca
Smooth Seed –> Pipot in White Boa
Puffy Seed –> Pipot in Pirate Fortress

If you manage to do this, then the Pipot in Pirate Fortress will give you the special ” Bracelet of Efficiency “
